Are people turning to a new type of talk therapy?

I thought I would share the following newspaper article; people are turning from talk therapy to the Intuitive healing/reading therapy.

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., July 8, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ — Christopher Golden, prominent Psychic Advisor to the Entertainment Industry, says that traditional talk therapy is out and that the metaphysical approach is in.  “The field of psychology deals only with human behavior, whereas an authentic psychic deals with the whole person – body, mind and spirit.”

“When asked if there is a noticeable trend away from talk therapy and towards psychic readings, Golden responded by saying, “Many people come to me, or some of the other more reputable psychics, having spent years in talk therapy, only to have a sudden breakthrough in consciousness after even one session with a legitimate psychic.  Once there is a true breakthrough, it is nearly impossible to go back to being the habit-driven person who you were before.  Psychics today, at least those who are in high demand, are less focused on telling you trivial information, such as when you will be traveling for instance.  Instead, as students of the science of consciousness, today’s leading psychics put their focus on the elevation of consciousness and the transformation of the individual, to create a greater sense of possibility for their clients”.

“Metaphysics,” says Golden, “is the science of non-physical reality.  That, in combination with an understanding and appreciation for how things operate in the material world, is a more complete approach, one that truly helps people to overcome their obstacles and to become the best version of themselves they can be.  So when such a therapeutic approach is available, administered by a seasoned professional, with a high intuitive process, why settle for anything less?  If you don’t believe you deserve the best, you will never have it.”

I find the same thing with my clients, they have also visited a therapist, but seem to be caught in a circle of talk therapy and are not feeling that they have moved on and have become quite dependent on their weekly visits.
